just thought i would share MY ideas on how i grow my nails, it has helped except for the times i bite them off. Also, since i don’t have a thyroid, i take SOCAL which are calcium pills that help with calcium and i have noticed helped my nails grow fast.

You can wear this look as just a rainbow look or add the polka dots This is just a quicker way to do rainbow nail art ( best to use pastel colours ) and it’s easy way of doing sponging, with now sponges required.
Colours used
BASECOLOUR: Lemon ice cream barry m
(All nail colours by barry m)
Peach melba
strawberry ice cream
berry ice cream
blue moon
mint green
(I bought all these at boots with my own money )
You can use any polishes, i prefer pastel nail polishes
i hope you liked it
This is my last tutorial of 2011, more to come next year, I have them all planned out :3

Do you put a base coat, or a top coat, how many coats of nail polish do you use, do you put cuticle oil right before your start your nail polish process…etc wtc

In a nut shell, what is your process of applying nail polish for the best results?

My nail polish routine:

1) I wash my nails and under the nails so that their dry.
2) I put on a base coat and let it dry for like 5 minutes
3)I put on a thin layer of my color
4) I put a little bit thicker coat on top so it looks nice and sooth and opaque
5) I let that dry for like 5 minutes
6) I put on the top coat
7) I get it dry for like a couple hours
Waa LA!
My nails DID! …lol

These are my new nails. Not sure how long they will hang around! Cost was $50 AUD and $35 for refills.

Oh my! One of my thumbnails for this video has me looking like I just sucked a lemon!

As requested, I generally don’t file my nails but I did have some little notches and beginning breaks so I figured I would try to file them down before they got worse.

It can be a little bit strange filing long nails, the length will sometimes make the nails bend and flex. That is ok! So long as your nails are moisturized, they should do this without breaking or cracking. Exercise restraint though (no dremels, grinders, or sanding wheels ok!)

The “dirt” I refer to is some wood stain that is still on my thumbnail. It is mostly gone, but wow how annoying! I started opening some Burt’s Bees Cuticle Cream (from JG) but that is in the next clip. The video is already too long and anything above 2 minutes is a long UL time.

Using my Seacret filer. I finished with the Seacret buffer because the grades were smoother and I didn’t want any tears in my nails, wish I had a microscope to see!

Watching “Ass Pennies” on the computer. Lol
