Anyways people always want me to scratch fruit or whatever… I think a cucumber is a fruit. and chicks put cucumbers on their eyes, I’m sure it’s full of antioxidants and vitamins, what not, not to say they are of any use topically applied – I don’t know – but I went with it!

My suggestion is to always go to reputable nail salons. Avoid any and all ‘discount’ salons – the ones that you pay about $20 for a full set. That type of salon are make up the vast majority of MMA users in the nail industry. You think that you’re getting a pretty good deal by going to these cheap salons, right? Think again, think very carefully before ever going back to one of these discount salons. They don’t give a darn about your nails, or your health. You get what you pay for in life.

Ten warning signs to watch out for:

* Your salon uses bottles in unmarked containers
* The technician cannot tell you what’s in the products
* The products smell unusually strong or have a strange odor
* Your skin is being abraded or cut
* The salon is not clean
* The instruments are not sterilized
* Licenses for the salon and individual operators are not visibly posted
* Your skin or nails hurt
* The gels do not soak off easily in solvents designed to remove acrylics
* You see swelling, redness or other signs of infection

There’s nail strengthener.
Or just start painting them now with thick coated nail polish.
I like Essie for that. Two coats and usually your nails are thick and don’t break as easily because the polish thickens up the layer and mine grow .. and you’re not as tempted to bite them, if you’re a nail biter because of the polish
